The play is a political thriller which tells the true story of two maverick Norwegian diplomats who coordinated top secret talks culminating in the groundbreaking Oslo Peace Accords. The discussion will take place on October 17th at the Harold Pinter Theatre, and brings together James Rubin. former Assistant Secretary of State for the US State Department, and William Sieghart, founder of an NGO which works with leaders from all parties on both sides of the divide in the Israel/Palestine conflict. Chaired by Jonathan Freedland. they will discuss their experience of against-the-odds peace negotiations and what lessons can be leamed from the past that apply to the political climate today. About Oslo Oslo was awarded 'Best Play' at the 2017 Tony Awards® and was winner of every 'Best Play award on Broadway.
