From: To: "Jeffrey Epstein" <jeevacation®gmail.com> Subject: Fw: Zorro Ranch Horses/stables Date: Fri, 17 Feb 2012 17:23:16 +0000 Importance: Normal Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry From: Wendy Martinez Date: Fri, 17 Feb 2012 10:19:55 -0700 To: Richard Kahn< > Subject: Zorro Ranch Horses/stables Good morning Rich, I am writing because my concerns of the stables. I was told from Brice when he was here in January - "no horses in the stables" - unless they are Ranch horses. I had my horse and Mano's horses in there when he was here because they were both hurt and lame from a injury related to the snow and ice we had received. He was not happy and told Steve no more horses. He took the cleaning and such away from me and (morning feeding) and gave to Steve with his new re-structure. Then, Brice spent approximately 3400 dollars having Steve put sand in the horse runs outside of the stables. I will-not feed horses in a run with sand. Sand, when ingested can clog/block a horses intestine - causing them to colic and sometimes this leads to death. It is a very horrible death. I did not express my concerns again and figured that I would feed the horses inside the stalls with wood chips. Now the horses can't come in the inside stalls. What am Ito do? I refuse to risk the horses eating their hay outside on sand that they pull out of their feeder and eat on the ground with the chance of them eating sand as well. Now this morning Steve said called him last night and said that JE said "no nags in the stables". Even if there is a snow storm they are not allowed inside. First, I can't believe that JE would call his horses "nags" as they have provided so much enjoyment to our guests. I have spent the last over 7 years purchasing, cleaning, looking after and training these horses. I can not believe that my credibility and use of the stables is being taken away by people that don't like or know anything about horses. This is my job and I take pride in JE's horses like they are my own. This has become a personal vendetta towards myself and Mano. How am Ito take care of these animals without using the stables. Isn't that what they are for? The benefit of JE? What if I have a injured horse and it needs to be kept inside with shelter? Why are Mano and myself not allowed to use the stables for our horses? -we live here. And, I have always kept the stables immaculate. Two (2)of my personal horses are used for Ranch visits and taking guests out. Mano and I ride my horses so that we can take more guests out on JE's (3) horses. I have a mare that is to foal in a few months. What if there is a complication(or snow storm) and she or her baby need brought inside? Are they going to suffer or die because I can't take care of them correctly? you can help be a conduit to JE about this concern. Unfortunately, I knew this was going to happen after I last visit. I am very frustrated right now and worried that Brice and =will somehow dictate that I can't even ride EFTA00708772 anymore. I have given many many personal riding lessons, English or western, over the years and this would be a detriment to the ranch. The guys do not know the horses, tack, etc. to be able to do this. I have trained horses for 15 years and break and ride my own. I am sony this is so long... Thank you for your time Wendy EFTA00708773
