Subject: Kuwait / Ivory Coast
Hi Sultan,
Trust all is well
, with respect to Ivory Coast, below are what we did like to discuss with them (very similar theme to Gabon):
a) We would like to discuss how Standard Bank can help Ivory Coast convert its "non-functional / non-revenue"
foreign currency loan into its "functional / revenue" currency...so as to protect the Sovereign from fluctuations
in FX rates as well as interest rates
b) Another item to discuss is how Standard Bank can help Ivory Coast lock-in low interest rates in the current
low rates environment on its outstanding floating rate loans...
c) Additionally, Standard Bank will like to discuss how it can help Ivory Coast protect its revenue stream from oil
production in the event that oil prices begin to fall...
d) Finally, Standard Bank will like to assist Ivory Coast in providing funding for various infrastructure projects the
sovereign wants to embark on....
Cheers,
Bunmi
