How is everything going this week? Any important campaign developments worth noting?? I spoke briefly with your son Jeffrey this weekend. It was a quick introductory call and I still owe him a return call to discuss your campaign development to date a bit more in depth with him. You will also have noticed that I have copied you on the many emails that I sent to Jeffrey this weekend. I have forwarded to him the preliminary emails and campaign development memoranda that we have prepared so far for you and your team. Once he has read up on the forwarded materials Jeffrey should be pretty well caught up with where we currently are with your campaign organization and our preparations to date. I will make that additional follow up call to Jeff either tonight, or tomorrow, and get him all caught up as well as answer any questions that he may have at this time. In the meantime, as I mentioned in my last email to you, the next critical step for you and your campaign is to finalize a Baseline Survey Instrument and get into the field and conduct the Preliminary Baseline Poll as soon as possible. I have attached the original Maldives Issues-Polling Information Memorandum that I previously sent to you. As you and I have emailed back and forth about, we need to get your team on the phone, or Skype, to get their input with respect to other locals issues such as education, health care, etc... I have also attached a Final Draft of an actual Poll that is going on right now in the US Virgin Islands. We will be looking to develop something similar for you in the Maldives. You and your team can use the attached as a reference document ahead of our phone call this week. We do have a Pollster who is has polling experience in island environments and has proven to be very good with his polling results in the past. I have brought him up to speed and provided him with the preliminary memoranda and background information and he working on finishing the developing of the Baseline Survey Draft but, once again, we need to get on the phone, or on Skype, to review with you, your son, your Cabinet, and any other members of your campaign team to get the local input needed that will get the document where it needs to be.
