Spoke to a couple of my colleagues in ENT. The first thing your friend, Stephen Daldry, has to do is to establish whether this is a sensory neural hearing loss versus a conductive hearing loss. One is treated with surgery and the other is treated with a hearing aid. The way to establish the difference is by doing a hearing test. That can easily be done by calling Dr. April's office, Say that Dr. April recommended for him to have a hearing test and make sure you let me k m a heads up. They will take very good care of him. If he has already done a hearing test you can fax me the results and I will get it to the right people to find out in which direction to go from there.
