I think your strongest position is that in charge of all universities.. i think you should start or coordinate an x-
prize for EXTREME research.. we could choose two or three topics„ cyberwar artificial general intelligence. ,
some health issue.. if you were to have a breakthrough in any of these , the gov't would be able to position itself
as speaking for the future„ instead of its current position as dinosaur in the world of ideas... it could be an ocean
project„ global warming„ briatin once ruled the seas„ its time they ruled over their cleanup
in addition or
instead of.. I'd form a new lending mechanism for home owners, and small businesses,,, somehow modeled after
a community savings and loan „ the community in this case is the whole country.. more radical idea is to
nationalize the cell phone business, give everyone free cellphone access.. that would get money direct to the
people.
