A bit different than my usual emails to you ... this time, it's my privilege to invite you to an event hosted by the Thiel Foundation, the evening of Dec 7 in San Francisco (at the Palace of Fine Arts). Among other things, get to meet Peter Thiel who's a pretty big-time hedge-fund guy, who you might have some good finance chats with... as well as a crew of mad scientists... Basically it's a gathering of people from interesting futurist nonprofits, together with successful tech entrepreneurs and investors and philanthropists. Should be a lot of interesting people.
