Hi Jeff,
A) Attached is my transcript. I'm sorry for the awkward transcript format; My commencement is
only next week and I don't have the official copies of the final transcripts yet.
My exemptions in Calculus 1 and Linear Algebra 1 are based on my scores when studying the
first year of a B.Sc in Math & CS during High school, with grades of 84 and 100 respectively.
My second year seminar in Biology was on temporal difference learning algorithms (in
computational neuroscience) and my finishing seminar in Mathematics was in Large Deviation
Theory.
In addition I teach myself a lot, I read entire text-books on Measure Theory, Statistics, ML
("The elements of Statistical learning"), algorithms and Number Theory.
B) Short CV:
1999-2000: First year of B.Sc in Math & CS, during high school, at the Open University of
Israel
2002-2007: Military service in top-secret intelligence corps unit
2007-2009: B.Sc in Math major, biology minor at the "Etgar" Honour's program of the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem. Final GPA 89.64 (my math is actually a little higher, the biology
lowers my score)
2008-2009: Worked in Netalign ltd., an Israeli startup trying to monetize the social web and
optimize ads based on NLP and machine learning algorithms
