ok.. now here is another question.. Steve Pinker, who was gonna come, as you know cannot come because he is
at a meeting in mexico (I was at the same meeting with him a few years ago, but they didn't ask me back.. :) ).
Turns out Richard Dawkins is going to be there too, and he has just contacted me yesterday saying he has just
checked and it is impossible for him to get from mexico to St.Thomas in any reasonable time by plane, so he
probably cannot make it. When I told him that this would be a blow and that you were looking forward to his
coming, he just emailed me and said that he was once flown on your plane with pinker and dennett to san diego...
I am assuming it is not practical to consider sending a plane for both Pinker and Dawkins in mexico.. if it were
I would contact steve and see if he would be willing to come under those conditions... I don't expect it to be the
case, so no worries either way..
