This fall, Kristi and I are honored to serve as Co-Chairs for the 2010 Ubuntu Education Fund gala along with Fiona and Stanley Drunkermiller and Janice and Frank Lipman. On 11.11.2010 at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom we will be celebrating 11 years of success in providing the orphaned and at-risk children of Port Elizabeth, South Africa with unprecedented health services and educational resources. These beautiful children have grown up around much hardship and disease while Ubuntu has worked tirelessly as a beacon of hope, health and opportunity for many of them. This September 16th, Ubuntu is opening the doors to a state of the art health and education center in Port Elizabeth, a defining moment, so that many more children can be equipped to do more than dream. The Ubuntu Education Fund focuses hard on spending our time, effort and capital on results driven initiatives and this beautiful new center is evidence of that determination. We hope you will join us this November at our gala and be a part of the solution! This year will be very special as South Africa's own DAVE MATTHEWS will be our featured performer alongside the amazingly talented VUSI MAHLASELA.
