We had to drive about 1.5 hours to get to the entrance through a Mennonite town. Our guide paddled the canoe into a cave which had about a 100 ft ceiling in places. You could see a few old Mayan pots and a human skull. We paddled in for about 45 minutes, then back out the same way..it was really beautiful, but couldn't really capture anything in photos because of the light. Then we went to a Mayan ruin about 10 minutes from our hotel.. really amazing. Tomorrow we are doing the ATM cave, the same one GM did that has all the skeletons in it, and then Wed. we are doing a day trip to Guatemala to Tikal Mayan ruins, Thursday we are going to the coast to do some snorkeling and diving, etc..
