Today some colleagues and I will go to Oklahoma City to meet with Aubrey McClendon and his staff concerning a
development in an in-fill project close to the capital.
When I retum from Oklahoma City I will have another visit to the hospital. The doctors tell me I need some clean-up work and
they probably will take my 4th toe. The major problem with this procedure is they anticipate having to take some skin and
graft it on to my beleaguered foot. Normally this is a simple procedure, however, because it will be grafted to a very mobile
part of your body, the plastic surgeons require that you stay in the hospital 4 to 5 days to make sure that the skin does not
come loose. The procedure will be done Friday and I hope to be out by Monday or Tuesday. I have asked them to check me
into the psychiatric ward because I am sure that is where I will be checked out.
Hope you all had a great Labor Day. Remember, it is my toe, not my tongue, so please don't hesitate to call me.
