I gave them my thoughts, and skepticism.. In prep. for the meeting I sent him an outline for 10 topics that relate to the programs I want to have origins focus on that relate to these issues, and also to what you and I have been talking about.. This might serve as a nice template for us to discuss the official support of Origins.. I have attached the document. 2. stay tuned.. I am hoping you are still willing/able to come out end of march or early april to meet Crow and me.. (you didn't answer my baseball question so I guess you don't like baseball and don't want to see spring training. 3. leaving for new zealand tomorrow.. been a bad week actually.. lots of trauma on home front etc.. (just submitted a science paper on gravitational waves though, and finishing revisions on my paper for Science which is due March 23rd.. so trying to get something useful done.. as well as having some good physics discussions here.).. I actually started to write up a short essay on quantum computing for you.. just to see what it might be like.. have mixed feelings.. Mother possibility is to pay me to consult, and regularly, i.e. once every 4-6 weeks fly out for a day or two of discussions on these issues..
