O'Reilly asked about 15 people to write a short book chapter about their experience and I was one of them. So writing up my impressions now... I led three sessions, including one that was filmed (hopefully online soon). Met some very interesting people - It's quite a different crowd than SciFoo. Much more of a focus on building code projects and silicon valley entrepreneurship - some were serious idea generators / product developers and some were people connectors. The two groups were quite different but interacted symbiotically. It was great to be back around coder culture and very smart people (as opposed to the law school / literary crowd).
