Attached, please find a "screen shot" of the BOSE headset hook that we're custom developing for your new aircraft. We ran into a roadblock with the certification engineers. We were told that the design of the head set hooks originally shown in the illustrations of the cabin interior presented a head-strike problem and that we could not use them. I believe our mechanical engineers have come up with a very elegant solution- a fold-down deployable hook, custom designed for the BOSE headset. As you can see in the in the illustration, the hooks are decoratively-plated metal construction, installed flush to the bulkheads or sidewalls, in the same locations as shown in the original illustrations. The fold-out to be used whenever needed. When the headset is removed, they spring back to the stowed position. Please review it and provide your approval as soon as you can, as the engineers would like to complete their production drawings. Please get back to me with any questions.
