Jeffrey,
Please review the attached (6) photos showing the status of construction of
the retaining wall, entry sequences and plantings in the area in front of
the Staff Cottage after the Dog Pen was removed.
We would like to use this area as a mock up for overlapping platforms and
boardwalk concepts.
Exterior:
Existing dead planting removed.
Plantings from Nursery in front of wall.
Low stone wall continues, replacing wooden Dog Pen
fence.
Interior:
Existing wood deck extended
Cutouts made at wood deck to accommodate existing
trees
Concept as " Wall with cacti " image from book
South End: Wooden arbor at end to be planted with flowering vine.
To finish: Wooden gate/fence at North End of wall.
See detail photo of sample.
Please note sample is only 2 ft
high. New fence will be full height.
North End: Existing dead vines in area removed.
Existing big plants and trees from area surrounding
outdoor Master Bath relocated at North End.
To finish: Wooden Gate/Fence at end of wall.
(4) Overlapping wooden platforms
leading to wooden steps up to Service Road.
Concept for overlapping platforms
as attached "Deck Platform" from book
May we continue to construct wooden gate at (2) ends and overlapping
platforms and stairs at North end?
Regards,
Silvina
