This is not a complete host list, and, as you realize, the Iraq project's mandate to keep Iraqi scholars at institutions in MENA would skew the results of an assessment of the overall quality all of the 2009-2010 host universities. I hope that you find this information of interest, and regarding Jeffrey's note, please let me know if there is additional follow-up reporting that you would like. I would like to see what srf has done so far. I am convinced that the average level of scholarship is fair at best. taken by country , by field , by any measure . The low level of qulaity university interest , is in an of itself a pretty good indicator. At the same time, we put the scholars' information into Scopus Citation Tracker and Google Scholar. The results were inconsistent and more "hits' came from Scopus and Google Scholar than ISI. From speaking with the SRF staff who took this task, I learned that there were a large number of packages available for the ISI trail subscription and I am thinking that maybe the correct one for this job was not selected. I would be grateful if you would ask Jeffrey the specific ISI package that he uses. As well, I believe that our trial subscription has expired and it would be great if it were at all possible to use Jeffrey's password - on a temporary basis - to do another round of scholar sampling.
