This year, we will be celebrating the strong bond between mothers and daughters and its impact on the breast cancer journey. To that end, we are honored to recognize mother and daughter trio: Melissa Spohler, Meredith Shepherd and Priscilla Alexander, each of whom has been touched by breast cancer. They are strong advocates for the Dubin Breast Center — Melissa serves on the Dubin Breast Center Advisory Board — and are passionate supporters of breast health and care. It is a privilege to honor these women and to share their story. Additionally, we are thrilled to honor Dr. Amy Tiersten— a renowned medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of breast cancer. Dr. Tiersten has served as principal investigator for many regional and national clinical trials and has published extensively in the areas of breast and ovarian cancer in a plethora of prestigious medical journals. We are delighted to honor such an esteemed and well- loved colleague whose impressive work impacts the lives of so many.
