iMac Pro setup I have installed the base software, created a new user account for JEE and set up the backup for this new machine. You need only to copy over the data from the previous computer and connect the backup drive to the network that the new computer will be on. 1. Plug the WD MyCloud Backup Drive that corresponds to the computer you're setting up into the network somewhere. (Hidden away, off the main switch, on the same subnet as the computer is best.) 2. Boot the OLD computer into Target disk Mode by opening System Preferences > Startup Disk & clicking "Target Disk Mode..." (Entering the admin password when prompted). 3. Connect the Thunderbolt 2 cable to the old computer, attach the Thunderbolt 3 adapter to it, and plug the Thunderbolt 3 side into the new computer. 4. Startup the new computer and log in as user JEE / password eclipse 5. Copy the contents of the Desktop, Documents, Music, & Pictures folders from JEE's home folder on the old machine into the corresponding folders on the new machine. Enter admin password as required. 6. Copy any other loose files and folders from the old home folder. (Do a cursory check for stray files / folders on the root of the Hard Drive and in the Applications folder as well, and move those into the new home folder.) 7. Join the new machine to the WiFi network & install the printer drivers as needed. 8. Attach the enclosed USB Optical Audio adapter if needed for speakers. EFTA00812106
