I have just spent a lot of time speaking to my colleagues of the Neuroscience Center in La Habana, that recommended me very strongly to postpone the congress, possibly to next October or November, to have enough time to organize an event with a very wide international resonance. Moreover, the Director of the Center will not be in Cuba in next April. I also checked about the room availability in the Congress Palace and I didn't find any free date, since the rooms must be reserved about one year in advance. I apologize for these newly coming problems and I would like to know your opinion about the hypothesis of this postponement. At this regard, I trust that for that period I will also get a better financial help by my University for the congress organization. My general view is that, based on the size and the success of the previous editions, we must aim to an even greater and successful outstanding event, centered on our common topic of "Creativity" but also open to contributions of the greatest number of Cuban and international participants, neuroscientists, reserchears, clinicians, etc. We can ambitiously aim to this! Please let me know your opinion, I am sure we will find the best solution. Its been a bit hectic with the new semester starting here in Hong Kong shortly (and I've been away for the past month). I sent you some of the answers from Giuseppe previously (attached for the others below). As Giuseppe mentioned, we anticipate more than 200 for the event next year with the makeup being 50% researchers and 50% students. Again. we have a good network there and can help target your target audience. I've been doing some work on the program and believe I've got a compelling theme that strikes at the core of mind - body relationship, EFTA00814482 especially related to different forms of knowing. and happy to provide that also as a p a orm or promo ing your pro uc s. That event is already funded but can offer if you help with our Cuba event. The overall cost for the Cuba event is $19K as broken down in the budget provided by Giuseppe. Ideally, we'd like to get it all from you. but would be happy if we could get $10K. The date we have planned, pending approval from the Congress Centre is: April 18.20. There is no new website as the event was not run last year or this year. I have recently joined the team and intend to make this a core event for the Americas. A group that I am involved with has acquired the TSC event and am developing a strategy for hitting the US, Europe. and Asia annually. Would love to build a long-term relationship with Biopac.
