I included the $40,000.00 I loaned to Paul. When you examine the bank records you will see I made all deposits except for a few in 2013. I think the $9,000.00 deposit made on 12-11-2013 is also mine and I am trying to determine from what personal account I made the deposit. That would increase my total investment by $9,000.00 as it is not included in my list. Interestingly, Charlie Barnett found photocopies of the check register among Paul's papers. No actual checkbooks or registers have surfaced. The register shows I made a December deposit but EFTA00826256 the amount & date are not listed (I think this is the $9,000.00 deposit).
