As for how much Noam is spending, I really don't have any hard data (as you know). I only know that before 2014 (or thereabouts) he not only spent less than his annual income but gave substantial gifts (and tuition assistance) to his children and grandchildren without diminishing his resources. That said, other factors may well be at play, such as reduced royalty income, salary, honoraria for speaking engagements or other sources of income. I would be glad to learn anything more that would help me (for so long as I am serving as trustee) to consider increased distributions to Noam going forward (as I have said before). Whether a judge would require Harry to resign in favor of Noam (as trustee) is not something I want to speculate on. As I noted in our last call, I very much hope Noam realizes that any successor trustee to me will have fiduciary duties to him and to his children that will not change as a result of my resignation (or removal).
