Using last year's "template" of having tom do first draft taxes with rich and larry reviewing (before you and alan) might also lessen rich's stress levels.... I don't know enuf to make a suggestion here. I spent 30 minutes+ with rich yesterday talking abt his priorities( tax and finishing 2014 reporting); I spent well over an hour the day before in building the first draft calendar of what he has to do between now and april 15 and where he needs outside help and review....
