don't care about the fee. I'm very risk averse in this case. let's think about the worst case scenario-- if the 1-485
is rejected by the mailroom for any reason whatsoever (and sometimes it happens for no reason at all), or gets
lost in transit (or the mailroom), misrouted to albuquerque, torn to pieces by their scanner, whatever, and karyna
leaves, she will not be able to return. i will not send her out unless i have the i-485 receipt. and, for the advance
parole, there must be an underlying 1-485.
read the I-131 instructions attached-- as it clearly states, if the I-485 is not pending anymore, the parole
document is useless...
now, i've never had an I-485 rejected. but, it is conceivable, albeit a very small chance, that it may be due to
clerical/ mailroom errors. therefore, i won't risk it.

check the 4th page of the PDF-- that's the judge's order (currently not executed). shteingart files it with the
court, judge signs the order, gives a copy to shteingart and mails me a copy. that's what i am waiting for.
