hi jeffrey,
..today i finished cabana no 2. i didnt take pictures because its hard to see real colors and somehow the room its
white. but its not a solid white, its transparent white and that gives it depth. the bathroom looks very nice.. i used
a lilac color but more towards blue and its transparent..like that pinto finish. then in the room before i painted
white, i painted very light and transparent somehow the same color like the bathroom because i wanted the white
in the room to be related to the color of the bathroom. so after i painted the room white the white you could see a
little of the color underneath.. and thats make the white colder and works with the color in the bathroom.
in a diferent daytime the walls look diferent.. like in the morning its more like blueish, at noon more like cold
white... i think that is because of that transparent white...
and about those horisontal lines..like that pinto design... i think here would be maybe too much having those
lines of the structure of the ceiling and then so many doors very close one to each other... you will see and then
you can decide..
i was thinking to paint the crown molding only the same color like in the bathroom. acctually i painted a small
section of the crown molding with that color for you to see like a sample, and it looks very good. the color works
with the color of the ceiling and the color of the walls and with the color of the floor too.
or maybe do like a pattern along the crown molding with that color. i'll try this tomorrow.
anyway its hard to explain with words..you have to see in real, but i think looks good..the room looks fresh and
happy even its a cold color..somehow its good cold because outside its hot.
cabana no 3 ..the same thing but with green.
i think i wrote too much.. sorry for bothering
thank you,
ion
