Unfortunately, in spite of numerous written emails (you were not copied) to NOT discuss social topics (like AID in Africa, etc), give powerpoint presentations, go longer than five minutes in a talk, they deviated, such as Murray, Paul, etc. Paul was to talk about AI, an area of which he is a genius in, and does a lot with Reichart (who thinks extremely highly of him, but he totally fucked up, and I was not at all pleased, and in fact, furious, he did that last second without informing me). It was most unfortunate that you didn't stay to hear my talk, which actually adhered to the constraints that I laid down. I talked for less than five minutes, demonstrated something never before seen anywhere, and it went against Jerry's talk. First thing out of his mouth was, "That's very cool! I like that! You have raised a really interesting question." And, the conversation went from there. However, I can separate form from content, and while some of the presentations may have lacked polish, or were initially introducing a simple idea, they were launching points for the discussions that followed.
