My collaboration with Itamar continues as well by the way (separately from the Hong Kong OpenCog AGI project) -- I have a couple students in China working on porting his open-source computer vision system DeSTIN (distinct from his commercial one) to CUDA, a parallel processing language that runs on Nvidia graphics cards.
