Our last conversation drove me crazy.. I am not religious , as my highest principle is friendship. It is painful
watching you slowly kill yourself. Hearing - you had difficulty standing near the end of your biz trip. a trip
designed around getting more, of that ,which you already have too much .. The idea that someone would help
you monetize ,sell your business is the right thing, I think for you.. I am of two minds whether I should do it for
you. Its time consuming, and west coast based. I prefer to kibbitz from the sideline and help guide the process.
but as your structure is " complex". I, m not sure who to trust , letting in the tent. THis is NOT , repeat NOT a
proposal. You suggested that one year of profit , should be enough to pay the phantom person. too much. ! My
understanding is that the net is between 200 to 300 a year. If FTC ( my personal trust co. would do it , it would
be along the lines of the following. My guess it would take approx two years. a 25 million - fee. a 100 million
success fee for an event at 2 billion. a percentage between 10-20 above 2 billion. A clause in the agreement that
survived your death.
I personally would have to understand the structure and numbers. that initally would be
structured under your lawyers co-vel letter as to maintain priviledge. It would be me negotiating , ( that „i can't
delegate ) I am still in paris and musing about fun deals. We would need a serious discussion.
