From: Richard Kahn To: Jeffrey Epstein <[email protected]> Subject: Summary of Amy call yesterday Date: Wed, 04 Jul 2018 13:24:41 +0000 Richard Kahn HBRK Associates Inc. 575 Lexington Avenue, 4th Floor New York, NY 10022 Begin forwarded message: From: Amy Dempsey < Date: July 4, 2018 at 8:36:26 AM EDT To: Richard Kahn Cc: Hugo Hodge Subject: Re: Call today at 4pm , Darren Indyke < Great talking with everyone, thought I would reiterate where we are: • Army Corps put out applications, including WAPAIS application in abeyance due to violations on GSJ and LSJ. Told us they would move VIWAPA along if they dropped LSJ/GSJ cable. • Violations: GSJ - two unpermitted barge ramps built after hurricane - discovered during post hurricane fly overs assessing impacts LSJ - flyovers saw differences in riprap along western shoreline of LSJ. During preparation of notice they found outstanding non-compliance on dock. • VIWAPA decides to add new cable so we pause cable permitting • I work with ACE to come up with resolution to non-compliances that they find acceptable. • ACE feels we are far enough along resolution process to allow our cable permit to move forward once it is resubmitted which should be next week at latest. • We are working to finalize non-compliance which includes the following: I. New survey of shoreline of LSJ to compare to older survey, 2. Permitting of as-built of dock which will supersede all old dock issues, 3 removal of ramps (1 done requesting to keep second temporarily), revision of EAR to include temporarily ramp request, 4. removal of filling in wetland (partially done after inspection ask for more earth work, 5. planting of mangroves (waiting on propagules). • Once we submit the VIWAPA permit 45 days for CZM and 4 months for ACE. • Once the non-compliances are finalized dock permits will resume and we will be 9 months CZM and 12 months ACE.
