Cheers! ;"2,Newsrnotion Citizen journalism As new technologies collide with world- changing events, the independent voice (or tweet) has emerged as a major player in news media. Newsmotion.org hopes to harness that energy, building an innovative platform where civic media and citizen reporting converge to connect new audiences to valuable stories, resources, and — most importantly — each other. On December 21st he reached his 1000th piece, covering everything along the way from whimsical party scenes to funny phrases to simple truisms. Phew! His next task? To self-publish a book compiling them all. EXPLORE THIS PROJECT All grown up Jak and Poi is a collectible card game that puts some clever twists on the classic "Rock, Paper, Scissors" — you use your smartphone instead of your hands, and in addition to "rock" and "paper," players can choose between "giant robot" and "cyborg dinosaur." This is the version we wish we had as kids, but we'll settle for it now, too! EXPLORE THIS PROJECT Not interested in receiving the newsletter?
