;',,This Week on Kickstarter
APRIL 05, 2012
This week's projects will move you! Explore your neighborhood on foot with some
civic-minded street signs, dance as your heart desires, or finally get growing in your
own backyard.
Walk [Your City]
Every walk of life
Walk [Your City] began when a few friends in
Raleigh, NC, posted a network of signs around
town that gave walking directions to cool local
spots. It was a simple way to help citizens
navigate their city on foot, but — surprise! — it
resonated worldwide. Now the team is working
to create an open-source web tool where
anyone can make, print, and post their very
own neighborhood walking signs.

Inspired by a Walt Whitman poem and
incorporating the traditional Japanese art of
Butoh dance, "We Two Boys" is a moving
chronicle of the intimate relationship between
two men. A timely narrative that explores what
it means to love, this powerful piece
transcends traditional definitions of human
sexuality to become a provocative story of
human nature.

There's no place like home
Homesweet Homegrown is a super simple
guide on how to grow, make, and store your
own food. How to build a coldframe? Check!
How to pickle anything? Double check! No
matter where you live or what you love to eat,
these girls have got you covered — and they'll
even throw in some organic seed packets to
get you started.
