From: Mohamed Waheed Hassan To: Jeffrey Epstein <[email protected]> Subject: Re: congragulations Date: Fri, 20 Apr 2012 15:51:01 +0000 Jeffrey, Thank you. It's going reasonably well. Ian's colleague Rory has been with me here in Maldives for the last week. He has travelled with me and knows the situation quite well. We are making some progress internationally but still in UK and Australia the situation is difficult. Those two countries are still calling for elections this year which in reality is a veiled call for my resignation. I will not entertained it. Rory is arranging for some journalists to come here for interviews with me in the next few days. He will also help to put up some articles in magazines and newspapers in UK and US. With your help through Ian, I am quite confident that we will soon get out of this situation. As you probably know we won the two parliamentary seats in the recent by-elections which is a huge vote of confidence for me. It is increasingly looking like I could be the lead candidate in the next presidential election, which is what we really want. Hope all is well Warm regards and big THANK YOU.
