I want to thank you all for the excellent support you have provided. Rory provided excellent advice and guidance on dealing with the international and local press. I believe that there has been a better representation of our side of the story as a result of your support. We have established that former President's version of the story is not necessarily the correct one and that there is another side of the story. I will still appreciate if you could get me access to some of the international media. Rory promised to get some journalists to visit us and get some interviews with major networks. Appreciate if this could be organized. In addition if we could also get some representation with key decision makers in UK, we could clarify any outstanding issues with them. Our tourism ministry has hired Ruder Finn to promote Maldives Tourism. they will focus on the country's image building and present Maldives as a positives and safe place for tourists. The moment Nasheed's friends found out about Ruder Finn there was a reaction trying to discredit the efforts. Fortunately no one knew about your support, so I hope that there has not been any attacks on you in the media. Immediately we are having to deal with the Commonwealth CMAG demands for us to change the composition of the Presidential Inquiry Commission. We are talking to Special Envoy and have invited him to come here again. But our MPs are still talking tough and calling for Maldives withdrawal from CW. I have sent letter to Secretary General of CW demanding an explanation why Maldives was placed on CMAG agenda because our situation does not meet the criteria for such a decision. So the situation with CW is still complicated. I will probably be traveling to India around the 10th of May. This event will give more exposure and publicity in India. Out challenge is to make it as positive as possible. Rory is now very familiar with the situation here and has Ben providing good advice and insights.
