From: Robert Trivers To: "jeffrey E." <jeevacation®gmail.com> Subject: Re: Date: Fri, 29 Dec 2017 03:35:07 +0000 ditto, pure pleasure start to end Norman Finkelstein ' lives on Coney Island i was going to write him and mention your interest in him but then found his phone number on my Jamaican phone so i called him and made an extraordinary discovery—when i asked him how he was, he said "depressed" and his voice showed it—he was going through a very hard and demanding experience which was draining him his best student was a Guyanese man who went on to become a doctor —25 years ago, he was his closest friend and also lived in NYC. Norm was godfather to one of his children—then they split up and his wife and family (also Guyanese) turned on him found some paperwork that allowed them to drain him of all his assets, i forget how he lost his job and was homeless but Norman intervenes in his usual way by hiring some strong lawyers to claw the money back via lawsuits—but Norman gets into arguments with them for overcharging (this is one of Norman's traits) and they respond vindictively so he is arrested once for harassment and once for "stalking"— believe it or not—which in Nassau County can consist of handing out material in a public place (anti a lawyer) which was in fact a private place, the lawyer's office he now faces 3 years in prison—he seems scared, having only spent about 18 hours under arrest each time so i said, well the reason i am calling is quite a coincidence, and i briefly characterised you and said you had out of the blue responded strongly to his name and asked if i could put him in touch with you (I did tell him that like myself you and more experience than he had with lock-up) so he cut me off because he had to prepare for some lawyer anti-lawyer meeting—of course this is utter nonsense, to get trapped into this kind of situation—i told him that Whitey Bulger when finally imprisoned was asked by a young con what he could do to become a criminal, and Whitey replied "first become a lawyer" in any case you put me back in touch with Norman at a key time and i hope you two make a good contact Video Intps:/imm.youtube.comiwatch?v-MmllaNNe 8U Your Movie to me hysterical and made me wonder if "Two pants Trivers" is just a family myth !
