We are still struggling with demands being made by a Commonwealth ministerial committee CMAG. Some foreign ministers from Canada, Australia and some developing countries decided that they suspected illegal transfer of power and to place us on the CMAG agenda, meaning we were going to be scrutinized and sanctioned if we don't listen to them. This is a very strange colonial type set up and we have asked for clarification because we don't think our situation meets the conditions for such an action. We have not received a reply to my letter. Former president Nasheed is supported by David Cameron's government and we are finding it difficult to convince them to be more even handed.
