As we discussed, the drill crew reached 640 ft in the exploratory borehole tonight with no observations of
significant fluid loss. The driller has indicated he may be able to switch to an airlift operation without
damaging the borehole, which will allow a preview of the how much water is coming from the hole. The
operation will require an additional compressor that will add to the drilling cost, but it may be the only way
to see how much water this hole can produce. With your approval, I will direct the drillers to set up for an air
operation. I have a call into Ronnie Dennison at HGS to discuss the logistics and schedule for making the
transition to air. I will let you know what he says.
Please call to discuss any of this.
