And...I can always have the second metatarsal osteotomy at a later stage if I havent got enough relief. On the other hand...I am already undergoing the surgery and will have to stay off the foot so maybe it is better to get it done at once... Difficult to say I suppose but needed you to know before I go in case you have a strong feeling towards one way or the other I am going to phone him again tomorrow to find out if he is only going to decide this once he has opened up my foot?
