The floor will have trained nurses in this type of post-op care. There will be a few private rooms, but most will be semi-private rooms. It will be a floor open to all socioeconomic groups of patients. It will be totally covered by insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare. There will be a room on the floor with services such as hair wash, yoga in a chair, physical therapy and psycho-social services.
