In a way you need to introduce yourself to the public. You will not persuade everyone of course. But you have to try to be real. You have to show that you are human — and can show contrition, accept/own up to the past. How you do this I am not sure, given the crazy news cycle. One on one interview with someone in a news/magazine publication? TV interview? There are many possibilities. But it has to be believable; you will need to subject yourself to tough, uncomfortable questions. You have spent io years plus in grip of your lawyers and I guess that is understandable. But they have no gift in terms of how you are seen by world at large. Ultimately, you could continue with this approach and just ignore how other people see you. Or you could try something different.
