I am still waiting on a the fiber optic vendors to provide me pricing for the fiber optic cable and equipment that I out for this project. After careful analysis, I've estimated (slightly over) that we will need to lay —30,000 feet of fiber to ensure full redundancy on the fiber backhaul for both islands. Missing from the proposal is an upgrade to the tower, backup UPS repairs and/or replacements, and redesign costs for the inter-island backhaul (service for ISPs and link to headquarters). I am waiting for a tower vendor to provide me with an estimate for 2 concealment towers and freight to the VI. I hope to get the rest of the prices at the end of the week with lead-times for shipping and delivery. Please accept my apology for the delay in getting this proposal to you. Given the magnitude of this project and cost involved, I wanted to ensure all bases are covered. As soon as I get the other quotes, I will send you a final update.
