Causing a flex in the hull, which cracked the super structure is only an uneducated guess. We know Finerglass flexes, something has to give when hitting a large swell. To say the boat is cracking in Half is a stretch maybe, these cracks need to be repaired, if you think the boat is worth the effort? I'll fwd to Richard at the fiberglass shop in Fort Lauderdale for his opinion if you like? Insurance claim?? The surveyor that inspected the boat when we purchased, made a comment, the Hull is thick, solid and should take big waves, since designed as used by the coast guard and Sheriff dept. during its inception. The obvious weak point is the super structure / Cabin„ I know the Floor that was installed was over engineered and very solid, I'm sure these cracks didn't happen over night, I'll fwd these photos to Richard in FLL for a professional evaluation. Rich, would this be an insurance Claim due to failure of the boat structure?
