I don't have a problem with the guys working hard for me. I also don't need the dynamics of Anna here. Her presence creates an unnecessary dichotomy that divides our crew. The guys respect me. I think you will see the visible progress they've made when you return. We are fostering a work culture here where hard work is valued and rewarded. I have inherited staff before that required some babysitting. They did not stay my staff for long nor will they here as long as I have the authority from you to send people home or let them go. I understand the division leads are in place. They are all great, so this is not a problem. The only one on the fence is Sheridon. He does not fully trust me yet but he is trying. He also will tell Anna whatever she wants to hear which is critical and negative. I'm sorry he feels he needs to interpret things through that lens, but he's fine.
