I understand from previous conversations with you that: I. You understand the need for us to discuss compensation given these changes, 2. We are serving in an interim role, a 90-day evaluation is expected, this may or may not become long-term, 4. You'd rather not have the added financial burden of taxes that comes with having employees. Please keep in mind the unique skills we bring to the table: I. Exquisite care of you, your home, and your property, 2. Excellent support, resourcing, and accountability for division leads, project managers, 3. A plethora of management experience, 4. An already existing relational authority with the crew - everyone respects us and works well for us, 5. The best captain and marine skills in the Caribbean, 6. Innovative, organized, and assertive in business operations, 7. A devoted couple who works well as a team (you mentioned you prefer a couple), 8. No children in the nest, 9. Versatile in many skills and well-connected to new circles of businesses and contractors to resource your needs. Compensation Proposal: Patrick and I would prefer to remain contractors and receive the following compensation: I. $2,000/week per person ($4K total), implying paid holidays,* *Patrick would be willing to accept 40% of his compensation in bills directly paid toward the remodeling of his home. 2. $20,000 scholarship ($10K each spring and fall semester) toward Stephanie's son's education, 3. 3 weeks paid vacation per year.
