Attached is a selection of Chaitin's work - worth a quick skim - Algorithmic Information Theory, Irreducible
Complexity, Randomness (he enlarged understanding). Also bio and interview. Meta Math is his book.
His major contribution focuses on Omega, which represents the probability that an arbitrary computer program
will halt, and which is infinitely more random than pi [?!]. He claims Omega is central to the study of the natural
numbers!
