I then performed and spoke in Vienna for the launch of a book at the Australian High Commission about families who had escaped the Nazi regime and created new lives in Australia. Many of you will know that my grandparents were famous artists and that my grandmother invented the foldable umbrella in Vienna in 1929. My mother was just 3 months old when they managed to escape! Following the launch of my mother's book Driftwood last year, we are developing a music theatre work to bring this incredible story of survival and creativity to the stage. I was very honored to have been named in the 100 Women of Influence and the 100 Most Influential Entrepreneurs in Australia! We also celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Creativity Australia and the With One Voice programs.
