Thomas was very honest with me, and told me that he would not install the FDR at this time, his plan would be to find a used FDR and install it at a later date since many GIV's are being parted out, that he could maybe find a used discounted FDR unit for less money. Thomas said he would certainly charter the aircraft to Europe, however since he is an owner/operator, he could travel to Europe under FAR 91 regulations as we do, his current clients are part owners and friends. I hope to have Thomas's official offer by tomorrow for your consideration.
