I told Rusty, these valves are listed at #10 High failure rate from Honeywell, Rusty said he would open an investigation with Westfield and request the full report taken by the Avionics Tech I request to accompany the test flight. Rusty informs Gulfstream will do the right thing to make this right, if they overlooked these valves. Gulfstream has no control or influence with Honeywell HAPP program according to Rusty, Gulfstream has their own competitive program call PlaneParts that works like HAPP, but covers Tip to Tail issues, not just Honeywell Avionic parts,. we are currently enrolled in HAPP for Avionics in the cockpit, I'm trying to enroll in HAPP MPP (Mechanical Protection Plan) covers environmental pressurization parts, which includes the 2 Low Limit shut off valves we require. Rusty said he will contact Westfield and Savanah Tech support and evaluate our Pre-Buy, he wants a couple of weeks to gather all information, get all persons involved, INPUT date to Savanah; Oct 26th /completion Date Jan 5th. Note, we will install our New Engine Cowls Oct 26th, so they are ready for paint, Labor and cowls are covered with RR Corporate Care (no charge). Rusty Needs a signed contract for Wifi and Wx Weather today, to lock in installation schedule with Savanah. Wifi $685k Wm Weather $80k All Shade Up cost will be provided by Thursday, I explained this shouldn't be that expensive as originally quoted, since we already have Shade master selection in Credenza, Main entrance door and Galley locations, they are looking into a firm quote.
