Good Morning Michael I enjoyed speaking with you on Friday about the barge captain position. It sounds like a great job and right in my wheelhouse. I have all of the professional experience needed to perform the tasks that you have described as well as so much more to offer. I am extremely hard working. I am a dedicated husband and father. I like to have fun but I am very serious about my professional life and responsibilities. My management style is such that I encourage my staff to always reserve using the word "NO" unless it is used for safety reasons. Otherwise, there are always ways to lend a hand or figure out ways to perform the task at hand. I never ask my staff to do anything that I wouldn't be willing to do myself.... however, I do delegate based on an individuals skill level. I have been on the water all 46 years of my life. My father was a fisherman and definitely passed that trait on to me. There is very little about boating and watercraft that I do not know but beyond my experience needed for the position described I am well versed in other areas such as electrical, electronics, intemet security, audio visual, I have a strong passion for cooking and the list goes on. I could be a great asset working on a private island where experience with these things is limited.
