The plane has standard high speed Internet. The owner offered to install super high speed Ka-band, but it costs $800K to install and can cost tens of thousands of dollars per month to operate. To show our serious intent, and to move things along, we told them not to bother. We'd rather reduce the purchase price and then install it later if we want it. Very easy to reverse that decision, though. Avionics. The plane's avionics are state of the art, except it doesn't have ADS-B avionics. This technology came out 9 months ago.
