Dr. Imber made two diagonal small incisions in my scalp right behind my hairline. He pulled tightened my forehead. I have staples in my head which come out Wednesday. I am not in any pain, but take Tylenol in the morning and night. My eyes look great and everyone keeps saying, "Oh, you look good" so I don't bother to give Imber any credit untill the staples come out and my forehand drops and I look the same. Going to the theater this afternoon...Dinner with Julia Koch at The Mark. Going to Palm Beach Thursday for Easter. Business is up from last year this time...working hard. A long lost cousin, my mother's sister's daughter (55) called out of the blue crying for money. I asked if she had a job...which was some idiotic "in between projects". She is divorced with three grown children and no one talks to each other. My father, then my mother sent these losers money for years. Anyway, she said she needed $1,000 so the storage company did not auction off her belongings. I calmly said I have been working every day of my life since I am 16 years old. I would send her $5,000 (in memory of my awful mother). .who had already given them enough of my inheritance. I said where. She came back with the storage company for the grand and another guys name for the $4,000. I got suspicious and looked them both up. Seems she is a high ranking member of Scienotology and it was a shake down for the church. I sent her back an email saying I did not support that church. If she gave an accurate account of what she needed the other money for, I would consider it. So sad. Her mother was an idiot. The daughter is a bigger idiot. I still shudder to think I am actually related these helpless nuts. On the other hand I did get an email from Mattie after sending an email that I was annoyed I send money every month and have not heard from her. Possible she did not get it?
